

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rose Bianco Mauro, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and devoted Catholic Eucharistic Minister who passed away on March 28th, 2025 at the age of 92.
Born on July 5th, 1932, in Queens, New York, Rose was a beautiful woman who gave her life to her family, her community, and her church. Rose touched the lives of many and loved everyone she met. She saw the good in everyone and never hesitated to lend a helping hand or offer her support to anyone who needed it.
Rose was known for her infectious love for life, selflessness, and altruism, dancing regardless of who was watching, knitting the comfiest blankets, and authentic Italian cooking—making sure you always went home with multiple containers full of food.
She is survived by her husband Nicholas Mauro of 73 years. Her children: Theresa Dempsey (Mauro), August Mauro, and Debra Tebben (Mauro). Her grandchildren: Alexa Tebben, Brianna Tebben, Nicholas Mauro, and Courtney Mauro. Her great grandchildren: Emma Rogan, Layla Rogan, and Ava Rogan.
A celebration of Rose's life will be held at Aycock Funeral Home 6026 N US Highway 1 Fort Pierce, FL 34946 on Wednesday April 2, 2025 from 2-7.
