Ruth Elizabeth Belt

Ruth Elizabeth Belt passed away on February 27,2026 at the age of 82 after a courageous battle against cancer. Born on September 13, 1943, in Hampstead, Maryland Ruth was a resident of Vero Beach Florida. She was the daughter of the late John and Elva Sandruck.

Ruth was and engineer for Lockheed Martin before retiring and moving to Vero Beach, Florida where she loved the Florida Sunshine

Surviving are her children Michelle Woods (Bill) of Frisco, North Carolina, and Mark Belt of Vero Beach, Florida. She is predeceased by her children Mike Belt (Michelle) and Melissa Belt.

Surviving in Pennsylvania is her brother Donald Sandruck (Bernadette).

She is predeceased by her brother John Sandruck and sister Mary Egolf.

Surviving are her grandchildren Stephanie Lewis (Mike), Lucas Belt, Hayden Belt, Jessica Crist, Travis Woods, Sydney Belt, James Belt, and Jack Belt. She is predeceased by her grandson Michael Belt. Ruth is survived by 4 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth had a great love and passion for her family and enjoyed any time spent with them. She was an amazing cook and gardener. She will be remembered for her cheese bread and mac n’ cheese.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
