Thomas was born in Bronx, NY and had been a resident of Fort Pierce for 30 years coming from Toms River NJ.
Thomas served in the Navy during World War II.
Prior to retirement, Thomas was a painter in the automotive industry. He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Jean Potter, of Fort Pierce, son, Thomas Potter, of Houston, TX, daughter, Lisa, of Springfield, MO, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
A service will be at a later date.
