Emily was born in Moosomin, Saskatchewan to Jack and Ivy Pearse and spent her young years, along with her sister Peggy, on the family farm in the Woodlands District. In the early 50’s the family moved to what became known as Pearse’s Motel in Moosomin, Sask. Later when the motel was sold, her parents along with Emily retired to White City, Sask.
There were many happy days throughout Emily’s life spent with family, friends, cousins, aunts and uncles, and grandparents. Emily spent most of her final years at the home of her sister and brother-in-law Boris. She had the security of loving parents and family as she struggled with mental illness and was able to live a good life.
She was predeceased by her mother, Ivy W. and her father, Arthur J. Pearse.
Emily is survived by her sister V. Penelope Lavrinoff; nieces Victoria Barbary and Penelope Ivy Williams and their families, and nephew Benedict Lavrinoff.
The family would like to thank Parkside Special Care Home for their exemplary care attending to Emily the final three years of her life.
