My sympathies to you, Shirley, and your family. He was a fun visitor to the needs of  the farm animals.  He also was the first to persuade some of the Foster cash to be spent on a pet kitten rather than a farm animal. The Foster mentality was why spend money on a house cat when there were lots of replacements in the barn. Fond memories of that day as well as others.

Dear Shirley & Family George was a very special person,as a vet in our business. I remember many times when it was cold and he came to preg check our cows & horses for us.Doug was so glad that he had stopped by and had a good visit with him. I watched him many a time on the farm aid in the birth of calves that never would have made it without his help. Dad respected him deeply for his compassion and conviction. He will be missed. I was the Agricultural Representative for the area and had the opportunity to monitor the excellent work George provided to the livestock producers. He upheld his profession.well. Hi Shirley, I remember the day you and George were wed in Abernethy. It was very exciting as a young girl to know the car was hidden at Grampa Alex Stueck's garage!!! George, the 'Flying Doctor' has left a lot of wonderful images for many of us. He is a Legend in the Abernethy and Balcarres area.

Deepest sympathies to the Wilson family. I will never forget my early days in Abernethy as George was one of the first friends I made. We spent time playing ball and enjoying one anothers company. I appreciated George's fair attitude and professional  approach towards the teachers and the school when he served on the school board. He will be deeply missed in the Balcarres community and area.

Sorry to hear of Georges passing.  He was one a person will not forget.  I know we had laughs with him as he was in our barn in the wee hours of the morning helping a heifer or cow who did not want any part of motherhood! He always remembered to the time when we  cut the colts and Shayne got kicked in the head, he was so worried about him as were we!  Just want u to know Shirley, you and your family are in our thoughts, deepest sympathy.
