Gordon Edward Schill

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Edward Schill, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, who left us peacefully on Monday, May 18, 2026, at the age of 82 years.

A loving husband to Anne, he shared a lifetime of devotion, partnership and unwavering support with his cherished wife. He was a proud and dedicated father to: Darren (Rhonda), Dean (Lisa) and Dan (Diane); grandchildren: Katie (Jesse), Amanda, Brooke (Mike), Chelsea, Shelby (Karlin), Tara (Jeremy) and Shawn (Dalia); great-grandchildren: Zoe, Myla, Theo, Hade, Sully, Sawyer, Lainey, Dylan and Gianna, who will remember him as a steady presence, a teacher and a man who led by example.

Known for his honesty and strong work ethic, he built his life on hard work and integrity. A skilled mechanic and successful businessman, he was truly a jack of all trades, someone who could build or fix just about anything. Whether it was in the workshop, on the farm, or out in the field, his hands were always busy and his mind always solving the next problem.

He was also a lifelong farmer and cattleman, deeply connected to the land and the rhythms of rural life. In his quieter moments, he found joy in hunting, fishing and took great pride in restoring classic cars.

A private graveside service will be held.
