Grandpa was predeceased by his son, Ivan, his parents Granny and Grandad (Margaret and Arthur) Inkson and his brother-in-law Larry Dushinski.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sheila, his children Ashley and Andrea (Jeff), grandchildren, Justin (Shyanne), Jamie, Taylor, Cordell, Ryley, Cali, Chace, his great-granddaughter Lyla, sisters Bertha (Murray) Carnegie, Helen (Ted) Renkas, Loretta (Bill) Mathison, Thelma (Alan) Lister and Kim Dushinski, numerous nieces and nephews as well as former daughter-in-law Sheryll Zulinsky. Grandpa and his twin sister, Bertha, were born March 13, 1939 in Tullymet, SK.
He lived his whole life on the family farm with the exception of a few years where he worked in Regina and met Grandma. Grandpa was a proud hard working man and his passion was the family farm. He was the most happy when he was at home and as gramma would say "putzing away in his organized mess". He especially loved when we all came home and grandpa would always make us laugh. We will miss Grandpa's storytelling and game nights playing his favourite card game "Sequence". These last few years have been challenging for Grandpa with his declining health. He suffered from Parkinson's and Dementia which ultimately lead to his passing.
We would like to thank the doctors and nursing staff of 5A Regina General Hospital for the care they gave Grandpa and the kindness they showed Grandma and all of us.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, December 1 at 1:00 at the Anglican Church in Balcarres. Grandpa's favourite colour was red so please wear red if possible as that would be spectacular.
