John and I were saddened to hear of Jean’s passing. 
We were fortunate to have had a wonderful meeting with Jean and other classmates to plan a reunion of our Bert Fox friends. Unfortunately that was cancelled due to Covid .  However, what a treat to spend some time with Jean and share memories of years past . She had not changed, always pleasant, warm and a pleasure to be around .

I don’t know if I have the words to express how sorry I am to hear of Jean’s passing condolences to all of you.
A story perhaps. One of kindness, caring and a lifelong friendship. We became friends when I started school in Fort Qu’Appelle Central School grade 8. I believe Jean was the Librarian at the age of 12. If she wasn’t she should have been. Her joy of reading was off the charts. Our group of friends gathered regularly in the library and in high school at Jean’s house for tea, Louise’s famous banana bread and discussion on solving the world’s problems. We shall miss you for ever.  Rest in peace Jean 🙏

My utmost sincere condolences to all the family. Jean was the best person I ever worked along side of, I loved seeing her beautiful face every morning.  She was never flustered, always calm and so knowledgeable!  Jean had a wonderful sense of humour and could make a hard situation better in seconds. Never was there a day Jean didn’t brag up her children and grandbabies.    She was amazing and Jean you will be truly missed ♥️  Rest In Peace My Friend

I am so deeply saddened to hear of this. We had recently run into each other a few times in Regina and had such a good visit.  She will forever be one of my best friends as we could have a great visit no matter how much time had passed. To Marcel, Lana and Lisa and Craig and all of her beloved grandchildren please accept my sincere sympathy. Jean was a wonderful woman and will definitely be missed. I am so very sorry.

I had the pleasure of working with Jean at Fort Elementary, and looked forward to her welcoming me as a Sub Teacher with a smile and calmness during chaotic moments. 
After she retired, we ran into each other at Coop and she commented how she enjoyed retirement…and recommended it!

   I was very sad to learn of Jean’s sudden passing. I enjoyed working with her very much at Fort Elementary. She always seemed to manage to see the funny side of things, was exceptionally kind, and embodied the phrase “Keep Calm and Carry On”.   Many former students can thank her for instilling  in them a love of reading.  She will be greatly missed, and my heart goes out to you all.
