So very sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing, one of those guys who you would start smiling even though he hadn’t even said anything yet. So much wisdom and humour. I was fortunate enough to meet Jerry even before I moved to the Fort, through Mark, going back to Speer’s Sign days. Always kinda felt like a part of the family somehow, just how Jerry, Ruth and Mark made you feel.

Our family got to know Jerry and Ruth through church and then enjoyed many family ski trips to the mountains together.  I remember Jerry's sense of humor and how he would tease the kids.  We always had a good chat at the bakery whenever we ran into each other.  Condolences to the entire Erickson family.  Rest in peace Jerry 🙏.

I am beyond thankful for every memory we’ve ever made, and for the way you loved your family. Your life was a blessing that will forever be cherished 💙 To say you will be missed is an understatement. My condolences to Ruth and the family. My special memories about Jerry (our neighbor) is his storytelling. Ruth and Jerry would go for a walk in the evening and always took time to say hello and Jerry could always share a laugh or a story. We will miss him so much. ❤️

On March 19, 2025 we lost a national treasure. Jerry Erickson. The man who taught me that it's ok, happy or sad, for a man to cry. A big heart is something that shouldn't be hidden, it's a gift that should be shared with the world. And you did just that, always finding a way to brighten the day for everyone lucky enough to know you.
If I was ever mad, or sad you'd say: "Life sucks, then you die." Not to be harsh, but as a gentle reminder that everyone feels that life sucks sometimes. And if you don't get past it, you're going to miss all the beautiful joys that life has to offer. So, you move on. Bring gentleness, kindness and humor to every moment. Make the best of every situation, and love the world with your whole heart.
I'll see you again someday. Say hi to grampa Ernie for me. Thank you both for all the laughs, lessons and beautiful memories. Thank you for shaping the person I am, and setting the bar for the man I want to become. I love you forever and always. Hope the fishing is good.

So sad to hear about Uncle Jerry's passing. I always loved visiting with him and Aunt Ruth when we would come to Saskatchewan. He is going to be missed a lot.

I am so sorry to hear this Ruth. Jerry was a great guy. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I pray that your memories will bring you peace and comfort at this time.  Sympathies from my mom as well. I know she would extend them herself if she had the mental capacity to do so.

Ruth and Family.. I’ll always remember Jerry as friendly, kindhearted, quick-witted, happy go lucky with a dash of sarcasm lol. Jerry always took the time to stop and say hello, offer some life advice and tell a quick story or a joke. 😊 He was truly one of a kind and he will certainly be missed…. 💛

Jerry was always like my dad to me. We had a special bond. We loved and laughed together over so many things in life. One of our connections was over geese and different species of ducks. He loved animals of all kinds domestic and wild. He was always thrilled to come to our home to visit all the cats and the dog.  What he really loved was my passion for Wildlife and my photos always brought him such joy and a sense of pride.  I will truly miss the man who was like the dad I never truly had! Rest peacefully  Dad! I will always love you!

My condolences and love to the Erickson family. Jerry was such a mild-mannered man, but quick with a joke. His signature Robin Hood toque was legendary. I have so many wonderful memories of Jerry while hanging out with the boys at the Erickson residence. RIP Jerry.

Many memories over so many years   I know the gentleness that Jerry  had, was one of his greatest  assets .  That, together with determination, to help his children understand  and accept responsibility for  making the goodlife ..thru thick qnd thin  and life's imperfections. 
You were the greatest of neighbours.  A  ' literally bridge"  that bonded us.. Those were special times.  My family and I are the better for it.  Jerry was a big part of that.. priceless friendships ....in our little part of the valley .  One high school generation to the next generation ...so much fun..so many great times.  Jerry will be missed.
