John Archibald Williams

John was born in Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan on July 14, 1931, the youngest child of James Williams and Flora (Robertson) and sibling to Lorna, Fred and Dave. John married the love of his life, Mary Skalski on April 2, 1956.

Their family started to grow in 1957 with their first daughter Debbie (Jim) Low and their children April (Dan) Giles and Kyle Low; Donna (Tim) Low and their children Chelsy (Matt) Arnett and Kerri; Sandra Williams (Rick) and stepdaughter Kim Ross; Joni (Danny) McKay and son Dalton (Victoria) Peigan. John has been the kindest and most loving great grandfather to Ethan and Noah Giles, Sophie and Sebastian Arnett, Halle, Riley, Cory, Carson and Charlotte Ross, Andre, Roxy and the youngest, Lenix Peigan. John is also survived by many nieces and nephews, whom he cared so deeply for.

The funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in St. Andrew’s United Church, Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan at 10:00 a.m. with officiants Rev. Jo Mader and Rev. Glenn Zimmer, OMI. Interment of cremated remains followed in Lakeview Cemetery.
