EDWARDS – On Friday, June 1, 2012, June Edwards (Ormiston), widow of George Edwards, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. died at the age of 79 years. The funeral service will be held in St. Andrew’s United Church, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Sharron Bodnaryk officiating. Interment in Lakeview cemetery. June was predeceased by her husband, George in 2000; her parents Bertie and Minnie Ormiston; four brothers: Jim, Elmer, Lindsey and Tom Ormiston; one sister May Edwards; one sister-in-law Pat Ormiston and one grandson Cecil Peterson. She is survived by two sons: David (Carla), Fort Qu’Appelle and their children Brittany and Tanner; Andy (Debbie), Fort Qu’Appelle and their children, Cameron, Erin (Greg) and their children, Indianna, Memphis and Phoenix; Andrew( Kelly)and Carson; one daughter Ann (Allan) Peterson, Assiniboia and their children Christiania and Catherine; one brother Wilbert Ormiston; one sister Joyce Jordan; brother-in-law Jim (Joyce) Edwards; four sisters-in-law: Francine , Vi and Jane Ormiston ; Elleanor Edwards and numerous nieces and nephews.
