Martha Sophie Manz

It is with great sadness that the family of Martha Sophie Manz (nee Lamers) announce the passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother on July 9th, 2015 at the age of 95. Martha was predeceased by her husband, Rudy, brother, Arthur, grandson, Jason, and great grandson, Josh. She is survived by her five daughters; Dianna Bereti (Ernie), Millie Faubert (Gary), Lucy Miller (Glenn), Pat Dielschneider (Richard) , and Bonnie Ermel, sister, Minnie Roske, brother, Albert Lamers (Lorna), sister in law, Clarice, grandchildren; Colin (Kelly), Melanie, Shawna (Andrew), Tyler (Shaunna), Jared, Erin, Jaclyn, Kyle (Stacey), Cassandra, Eric, great grand children; Jess, Jakob, Maria, Keyanna, Hailey, Ethan, and Ferah as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Martha lived most of her life in the Southey/ Cupar area and farmed north of Cupar with her husband. They retired to the town of Cupar where they lived until Rudy's passing in 2009. Martha then spent her last few years living in Fort Qu'Appelle until the time of her death. Martha was a warm and loving person who cared very much for her family. She was an excellent home maker who enjoyed cooking, gardening, listening to music, and get togethers with her daughters and their families. While living in Fort Qu'Appelle, Martha enjoyed numerous outings with her family and friends, especially James. Martha stayed healthy right up until the time of her death. A private service will be held on Friday, July 17th in Fort Qu'Appelle officiated by Pastor Todd Guggenmos. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
