Melanie leaves behind her precious children: Dylan, Meleigha, Kirk Jr., Stormy and Thunder. She also leaves to remember her with love, her grandpa Robert and grandma Maureen; mother Olivia and father Gord and her brothers and sisters: Wesley, Angel, Patrick, Kayla, Keith, Destiny and Deshawn.
Melanie was predeceased by her sisters Gwen and Patricia. She was also greeted by grandparents Leona and George.
The wake for Melanie was held in the Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 beginning at 4:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 9 with Pastor Edmund Jordan presiding. Interment will follow in Asham Beach Cemetery followed by a feast in the memorial hall.
The pallbearers are Amrie Strongeagle, Conrad Ahdemar, Dalton Obey, Byron Starr, Greg Moostoos and Trenton Obey/Charlie Ahdemar.
