Muriel Mary Moise

Muriel was predeceased by her husband Eric Moise; her parents Thomas Lavallee and Mable Fiddler; her sisters: Rita, Linda, Pauline and Nadine; her brothers Keith Lavallee and Martin Oochoo; her infant daughter Melanie; her children: Jocelyn, Aaron, Jason and Trent; as well as two children she lovingly raised as her own Nadine Ironeagle and Baine.

Muriel is survived by her daughters: Tanya (Darryl), Candace (Colin), Amanda (Chris) and Janova; her sons: Thomas (Elsie), Melvin (Cheryl), Harley, Julian, Wendell, Daniel and Roman (Charlene) and her special adopted son (nephew) Gerald. She is also survived by her brother James (Pauline) Lavallee; special grandchildren: Jordon, Amarrah, and Kyzen; as well as numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she loved deeply.

Throughout her life, Muriel opened her heart and home to many children she raised as her own, including: Andrew, Floyd, Sandra and Deenie Girl, among others. She will be especially missed by her close friend Pauline Moise.

A Wake was held on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at Muriel’s residence, House 197, Muskowekwan First Nation.

The Funeral Service took place on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the same location.

The Interment took Place at the Muskowekwan First Nation Cemetery following the Funeral Service.
