Raymond Elmer Kahnapace

He was predeceased by his lovely wife Rhonda Kahnapace; daughter Inez Kahnapace; son Linden Kahnapace; parents Rosalie Pambrun and George Kahnapace; brothers: Robert, Anthony, Marty and Kevin and sisters: Harriet, Sandra and Kendra.

He is survived by his children: Tanya Kahnapace, Gwen Oochoo, Chantelle Kahnapace (Trent Vollman), Lindsay Kahnapace (Emily Kahnapace), Kristen Kahnapace, Letisha Kahnapace and James Kahnapace; brothers: Joseph Kahnapace, Richard Kahnapace and Dana Kahnapace; numerous grandchildren: Syrus, Shineka, Shanden, Maurice Jr, Liam, Rylin and Linden, Riley, Taylin, Kiana, Klarise, Kilista, Shelvez, Shayden, Sheldon, Burns, Sheila-rae and Reno; numerous great-grandchildren: Amelia, Wayne, Bryson, Bryce, Braxton, Kalyzsa, Chandler, Kirkland, Gia, Tahlina, Rylin and many more; many nieces and nephews that he took as his own.

Family and friends are invited to a traditional wake to be held in the Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall, Pasqua First Nation, on Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the same location on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Elder Angus Cyre. The interment will take place in Asham Beach Cemetery.
