He was predeceased by his parents George and Leona; sisters Valerie and Shirley; brother Craig; daughter Roberta and granddaughters: Patricia, Melanie and Gwen.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife Maureen; granddaughters: Angel, Kayla and Destiny; grandsons: Wesley, Patrick, Keith and Kyrie and 25 great-grandchildren.
The wake took place on Monday, August 11, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial Hall, Pasqua First Nation. The funeral took place in the same location the following day at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Edmund Jordan officiating. The pallbearers were: Charles Ahdemar, Wallace Obey, Dalton Obey, Conrad Obey, Amery Strongeagle and Joseph Kahnapace Jr. The burial took place in Asham Beach Cemetery.
