Verna Desnomie

Verna was predeceased by her mother Florence Grumbo; father Henry Desjarlais; husband Charlie Desnomie; siblings: Rose Alice, Joe, Jed, Teddy and Sherry; children: Perry Paul, Lorne David and Ezzard Charles and grandchildren Vanessa and Heavenly.

She is survived by siblings: Elmer, Evonne, Mike, Theresa, Debby and Kim; children: Donna and Darren; grandchildren: Nigel, Brandon, Vanessa, Ocean, Crystal, Allison, Jesse and Danielle and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The funeral mass was celebrated on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. There was a visitation for family and friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. before the mass. Both the visitation and mass for Verna were held in the Peepeekisis Roman Catholic Church and burial followed in the parish cemetery.

The pallbearers were Nigel Nazel, Wayne Armbruster, Brian Desjarlais, Jeremy Jack, Cash Jack Desnomie and Jesse Ducharme.

Honorary Pallbearers were Justice McNabb-Desnomie, Darren Desnomie and Tyrese McNabb-Desnomie.
