It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Bernetha Brandt of Sherwood Park from cancer. Bernetha was an incredibly loving and devoted wife, mother, grandparent, daughter, and sister. Bernetha will be forever loved and sadly missed by her three sons, Keith (Lynn), Glen (Eva), and Kent (Michelle); her daughter, Kim (Todd) Hummel; and eight grandchildren, Jill, Vicky, Kody, Hayden, Landon, Brooklyn, Tyler, and Ashton. She will also be lovingly remembered by her sister-in-laws, Martha Sommerfeld of Saskatoon, Hilde Pfahl of Hanna, and Lena Brandt of Regina and their respective families, and her friends.
Bernetha was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Annie Pfahl; her husband, Edwin Brandt; brothers, Wilbert Pfahl and Ivan Pfahl; brother-in-laws, Harold Brandt and Bernie Brandt; niece, Diane Penner; and nephew Dale Pfahl.
A Memorial Service will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, 9909 – 90 Street in Fort Saskatchewan on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
