Bernice was predeceased by her loving husband, Fred Sharrun; stepson, Fredrick Sharrun; brothers, Mike Safronovich, Joe Safronovich, Harry Safronovich, and Steve Safronovich; and sister, Mary Kazoleas.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Sharon (Shane) Pye, Rob (Tammy) Thirsk, Trevor (Janeen) Sharrun, and Marnie Sharrun (Bob Johnson); brothers, Johnny Safronovich and Stan Safronovich; sisters, Doreen Axani and Sylvia Culshaw; as well as 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Bernice loved family gatherings, traveling, curling, dancing, gardening, fishing, bingo, and playing crib. She was an active member of her community and did volunteer work. She also volunteered at the Tim Hortons Brier in 2005. Bernice worked at the Red Water Hospital in Dietary and Nutrition for 25 years. After retiring she began travelling until her health deteriorated.
Her legacy of love, integrity and generosity will endure through the many lives she touched.
Lovingly remembered and deeply missed.
