Dan is survived by his children, Roy (Leslie), Corrie, Darcy, and Boyd; his 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; as well as his brothers, David (Josephine) McPherson and Dale (Elizabeth) McPherson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Hazel McPherson; and his sisters, Donna Guptell and Cheri Mack.
After joining the Royal Canadian Navy from 1962-65, Dan embarked on a rewarding 30 year career as a City of Edmonton Firefighter, retiring on April 26, 1999.
A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.
