Debbie Ellen Anne Hargesheimer

Debbie will be lovingly remembered by her husband, George; her children, Christa, Angela (Peter), Briana (Tyler), and Michael (Abby); and her grandchildren, Alexandra, Isaac, Aubrey, Olivia, Everly, and Piper. She was predeceased by her parents, Jim and Helen Carmichael; and her sister, Patricia White.

Debbie lived a full and joyful life surrounded by friends, family, and a deeply fulfilling nursing career at both Oshawa General Hospital and Fort Saskatchewan Hospital. Colleagues and patients alike cherished her mischievous stories, her infectious laugh, and the warmth she brought to every room. She had a gift for making people feel cared for, seen, and entertained all at once.

Fun loving and always the life of the party, Debbie made her wishes clear: she wanted her loved ones to celebrate, not mourn. In honour of her spirit, the family invites all who knew her to join in a Celebration of Life on August 29th from 12-4 p.m. at the Bruderheim Community Hall. She requested that no tears be shed—only a big, joyful gathering, complete with her beverage of choice served upon entrance.

Her laughter, kindness, and spark will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
