Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Donna (Jerome) Forrest; step-children, Debbie (Allan) Lewis, Margaret (Stewart) Holder, and Mark (Kathleen) Corcoran; siblings, Jack (Betty) Brown, Edyth Brown, and Sharen (Raymond) Cormier; sister-in-laws, Rowena Brown, Abbie Brown, and Laura Brown; step-son-in-laws, Jimmy Brighton, and Bryan Weaver; as well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Donald was predeceased by his loving wife, Betty Joan Brown; parents, Agnes Elizabeth Brown and Everett Brown; siblings, George (Ann) Brown, Murray Brown, Margaret (Eugene) Wallace, Ronald Brown, and Walter Brown; brother-in-law, Wendell Brown; stepchildren, Daryl Ann Polly, Susan Brighton, and Mary Weaver.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a Long Shore Fisherman in Nova Scotia and then at Coca Cola in Saint John.
Some of his favourite people called him Pa, Richie, Brownie and Great Grampie.
He loved spending time camping and fishing at South Oromocto Lake as well as playing darts, watching curling and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Donnie and Betty moved to Alberta in 2009 to spend time with family. During his time spent in Fort Saskatchewan he enjoyed family suppers, ice cream visits at DQ, playing crib, card bingo and Tim Horton’s tea (and his plain donuts of course).
In his last few years, he has spent his time with Margaret, Stewart, Lucas, Cole, William, Darren, Jacqueline, Mary Jane and Brian.
He is gone but will never be forgotten. We will love you always….
