

She was predeceased by her life partner, Bob Prime of 54 years; her sisters, Margaret McDonald and Phyllis Hall; her brother, Richard Hall, and her parents, Myrtle and Percy Hall. She will be remembered lovingly by her daughter, Darlene, and her son, Doug, along with numerous relatives and friends.
Dorathy was born the youngest of 4 to Percy and Myrtle Hall in Earl Grey, Saskatchewan. In 1932, the family homesteaded near Carrot River, Saskatchewan where she grew up on the family farm. In 1949, she married Bob and in 1950, they welcomed their twins Darlene and Doug. Due to Bob's work with the Hudson's Bay Company, they moved from Saskatchewan to Manitoba, then to Ontario, and to BC and finally to Alberta.
Dorathy was an excellent homemaker as well as working for Associated Helicopters. Her hobbies included curling, golf, carpet bowling, bridge and gardening. She was also very active in the United Church everywhere she lived as well as Meals on Wheels in Fort Saskatchewan and Pioneer House Senior's Centre in Fort Saskatchewan.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00PM on Monday, November 3, at First United Church in Fort Saskatchewan.
