Edwin "Butch" Calvin Coleman

He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 59 years, Grethe; his children, David (Wendy) and Dana (Jason); his grandchildren who were his pride and joy, Josh (Nicole), Samantha, Sydney, Cole, and Coden; sister, Freda deBetue and her children Barb (Rob) and Geoff (Leslie); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents and parents’ in-law as well as 4 brothers.

The family moved to Fort Saskatchewan in 1975. Butch had a long career as an Insurance Broker which he was very proud of. He volunteered for many things in the community such as Chairman of the Fort Saskatchewan Hospital Foundation and served a term as President of the Golf and Curling Club. He was an avid curler and golfer enjoying time spent with family & friends.

At his request a private family service will be held.

The family wishes to thank all the medical personnel that were dedicated to his comfort and care. A special thank you to the Rivercrest Hospice staff for their devotion to Butch and his family. Their help during this difficult journey was truly above and beyond.
