Elizabeth Jane Johnston

Elizabeth will be lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of 47 years, Larry; her children, Jennifer (Markian), Jeffery (Jade), and Robert; and her cherished grandchildren, Keely and Kynzly. She is also survived by her mother, Mary Phair; her brothers, Michael Park (Beverly), and James Park (Deb); and her sister-in-law, Sharon Bower (Barry). Liz held a special place in the hearts of her many nieces and nephews and was a loyal friend and confidante to many.

Thirty-three years ago, Liz and her family made Alberta their home. Over the years, she was actively involved in her children’s sports activities, attended countless concerts, and enjoyed camping adventures. Her creative spirit shone through in her hobbies, which included silversmithing, jewellery making, and watercolour painting.

Visitation will be held at 10:30 AM on October 2, 2025, at First Memorial Services – Riverview Chapel.

Funeral services will follow at 11:30 AM at the same location.

Memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth Johnston’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at the Misericordia Community Hospital ICU for their compassionate care.
