It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon, our dear partner, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend to many. He will be sadly missed, but live on in the memories of his loving wife, Shirley; daughters, Sandra (Glen), Gail; and sons, Robert, and Don (Tammy); ten grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; brother, Ferguson (Betty Anne) and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Everett; mother, Louise; sister, Laura; and brother, Bill.
Gordon was happiest when he was doing activities related to camping, gardening, and spending time with his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed taking care of his roses, working with his electronics, and watching his news. He always enjoyed golfing and going to Arizona, and meeting new people.
The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Martin, Dr. Prestige, and all other staff at Kelowna General Hospital, as well as special thanks to the staff at the Kelowna Hospice House for their kindness and compassionate care of Gordon while he was there.
