Iris was 86 years old, Iris was born September 11, 1939 in Sherridon, Manitoba, the daughter of James Harvey Holden, and Harriet Eileen Holden (Sterns). The younger sister to Ken Holden (1934-2007), and Verla Zinger (1936-). She married Ron Pollard (1938-) July 21, 1960. She was the mother of Kenneth Leigh Pollard and Jo-Anne Henson, she was the proud grandmother to Daniel Leigh Pollard and Erin Eileen Smith, and great grandmother to Freya Eileen Smith.
Iris found great joy in life from her family, friends and the many clients she served over the decades in her practice as a hairdresser. She filled her years with great creativity, making beautiful sweaters, afghans and crafts that her family will cherish for their lifetime.
The Celebration of life for Iris will be held at 11:00AM, on June 23, 2026 at First Memorial Funeral Services Riverview Chapel,
