It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leonard Lee Jobb on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the age of 35. He will be remembered as a kind, gentle, friendly and courageous Son, Brother, Grandson, Uncle, Nephew, Cousin and Friend.
Leonard was born in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta and raised on an acreage where his fun-loving carefree spirit flourished and his sense of adventure thrived. In his younger years, Leonard was diagnosed with Lupus nephritis. Leonard battled this disease his entire life and bravely carried a load no person is deserving of. In 2016, Leonard was given a second chance at life by accepting a kidney donated to him by his Mother.
Because of this life long struggle, Leonard developed a unique sense of appreciation for the smaller things in life. His love for coffee, art, photography, and keen sense of computers will be treasured memories. His ability to speak candidly with friends and strangers alike is a testament to his good nature. He will forever be an example of gentle patience and quiet endurance throughout his life here with us.
Leonard will be deeply missed by his Father and Mother, Lawrance and Linda; Sisters, Lena (David) and Kendra (Jan); Grandmother Mary; Nieces and Nephews, Maya, Nathan, Karis and Jeremiah, along with all of his extended family.
A celebration of Leonard’s life will be held on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 1:30pm at Fort Saskatchewan Alliance Church, 9935 93 Ave, Fort Saskatchewan, AB T8L 1N5. Please also join us for a time of fellowship and remembrance after the service.
