October 17,2025 at the age of 83 years. She peacefully passed surrounded by her family.
Our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, will be truly missed every day.
Mary Ann is pre-deceased by her mother, Helen; her father, Henry; husband, Raymond Tourigny; three brothers, and two sisters. She is survived by three sisters, Beatrice, Mary Jeane, and Helen; and her sons, Mike Tourigny (Tina Tourigny) and George Tourigny (Tracey Tourigny); grandchildren, Tyler Tourigny, Ashley Tourigny and Madison Tourigny.
Mom loved her family, the lake and her independence. She never wanted to live anywhere other than her home and never wanted to be without her driver’s license. She got her wishes and retained both until her last day with us. After leaving Ponteix Saskatchewan early in her life, she spent 12 years in St Louis, USA and returned to Canada in 1977 and has lived in the same home in Edmonton since her return. She loved to sew and crochet, both of which her kids and grandkids benefited from often. From patching clothes to dish cloths and Afghans we were well looked after. Mom, may you never have another worry and truly rest in Peace. Love you forever.
