Having known Paul from kindergarten to graduation, he considered everyone his friend.  His sense of humor carried us all through our academic years, with laughter, jokes, and his laid back goofy self.  
I still remember in high school, how Paul used to tease me about when we were in second grade. He would sometimes trade items in his lunch with other classmates, and I tried to trade my banana sandwich for his bag of chips.
Needless to say he wasn’t interested.  Lol! 
Paul was a great and talented man. A kind soul with a huge heart.  
Listening to him on the radio each morning was always a great way to start the day. 
To the entire family, I send you my deepest sympathies for your loss. 
He will be missed.

The Boissonneault brothers (Roger, Denis & John) are extremely saddened to hear of Paul’s (Ti-Gas) sudden passing.
Looking back, we were lucky to have Ti-Gas (and Lorraine, AKA Nonoune) visit us so often on the farm….feels like we were together all the time…. 
Like so many, we have countless fond memories of Ti-Gas dating back to when we were very young kids.  We had so many great moments growing up together and doing all sorts of fun things.  We remember playing baseball (a lot of baseball), birthday parties, New Year’s Eves and with Ti-Gas’ creativity and sense of humor, doing skits and recording them on a tape recorder, and forming our own makeshift radio station playing records and recording commercials.
In many ways Ti-Gas was an extra brother for us….We got in trouble once in a while, but always had a lot of fun and laughter.
While heading in separate directions in adulthood, we were pleased to hear that Ti-Gas and Bernice had recently moved back to Alberta and specifically in the Edmonton area and were hoping to reconnect.
Ti-Gas left us way too soon and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Donnelly Alberta who would thought of the long lasting friendships that would form from a little town in northern Alberta that would last a life time.  Although, many of us  are separated by distance yet there is a bond we all share.   Today part of that bond is broken and there is a void.  Paul you’ll be missed but never forgotten.   I may even sometimes cheers for the  Toronto. ❤️

Paul was larger than words.  His spirit is etched into so many childhood memories.  As a kid, he led by example and had a self-assured presence far beyond his years.  I am grateful we shared time together over those formative years. In that brief moment in time, he showed me how to be free and that he lived completely in the moment he was in.  My condolences to Paul’s family.  Paul will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.  


Where do I begin?.
There are literally thousands  of memories of Tigas . Paul and I became close friends the moment he and his family moved to my end of town in Donnelly. By the time we were teenagers we hung out constantly . We had a mutual love of music and stereo equipment and DJ-ing at parties and school dances. 
Once he had his driver's license, he would pull up onto the carport at my mom and dad's place, get out of the vehicle, walk into our house, grab me and tell me we're going to Peace River or Grand Prairie or anywhere else he decided we had to go.
My mom would just laugh because we both knew I didn't have an option but to climb into his vehicle and go wherever he decided we were going. It was always a fun adventure. 
He entertained everybody within hearing distance with his creative mind and unstoppable sense of humour. ...And I was one of the fortunate ones that was there a lot to experience the big personality that was Tigas Ouellette.. He was like a my brother and my friend. His whole family has always felt like my extended family. 
I've always maintained that Tigas pulled me out of my shell when I was a shy boy growing up and was such a huge influence in my life. We had a lot of fun, a lot of laughter and his creativity never ceased to amaze me.
Tigas was incredibly proud of his whole family, and I was incredibly proud of him for what he accomplished in his life. I'm going to miss him a great deal. 
It's hard to imagine a world without him in it. 
Rest in peace my friend.
