Worked with Rennee on Kearl.  She was smart and a good worker. So sorry to hear of her passing.  We will be praying for her family.

Rene and I worked and poked fun at each other with me being a Caper and her a Mainlander !!  She had planned a visit out east and we were going to do the Cabot Trail on the Motor Cycles together. I just found out today that Renee has passed away ... We worked together three years back on the Kearl Project; a tragedy and heartbreak for the family. So sorry for your loss .. a kind person with a beautiful smile ..  I'm sure she will be missed. Kind regards, Maria Correia-Gago.

To the family of Renee Mattie. I only spent two summers with beautiful Renee! We worked together at Silver Glen Resort in Antigonish. It was a difficult time for both of us and I know if Renee had not been there it would have been impossible for me to make it through. She was there for me and we cried and giggled together. We kept in touch over the years and both moved west. I am now doing Mission work in Cambodia and she often sent me words of hope and encouragement.
