William Arnold Brook

He is predeceased by his parents, Willie and Muriel (Stewart) Brook; siblings, Amon Brook, Eric Brook, Fern Brook, Gladys Brook, Beatrice Barbe, and Len Barbe.

Survived by his brothers and sisters, Alice McKnight, Charlie (Susan) Brook, Marla (Victor) LaRocque, and Raymond (Julia) Brook; as well as many nieces and nephews who Bill missed, adored, and tried to visit as much as he could.

Bill will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Deltha Brook; children, William (Cyndy) and Celina Brook; and his loving grandchildren, Cassidy Brook, Brook Freeman, and Evan Freeman.

William was a proud member of the Fort McMurray community while working for Syncrude Canada from 1977-2023. It was there that he was a founding member of OSSA, a first aider and a long-time volunteer with the Fort McMurray Oil Barons. Retiring in Fort Saskatchewan to remain close to his children and grandchildren, Bill continues to volunteer his time within his congregation.

Bill’s memorial will be held on Saturday May 31, 2025, at 2:00 PM, at the Kingdom Hall 9965 93 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, AB T8L 1N5, as well as broadcasting via Zoom. Please contact a family member for the code.

In lieu of flowers, a donation made to the Canadian Alzheimer’s Society in Bill’s memory would be much appreciated by his family.
