He will be deeply missed by his mother, Pat McCormick; daughter, Amanda Rutherford; dearest friend, Angelika Hardy; sister, Kelly (Bruce) Clement; and niece, Amanda (Adrian) of Carleton Place, Ontario. Special aunts, uncles, and cousins will never forget him.
Will was predeceased by his father, Bill McCormick.
Will was born in Ottawa, Ontario and raised in the small community of Munster Hamlet. He loved his job and was a conscientious and dedicated employee for 32 years where he will be remembered and missed by colleagues, coworkers, and good friends at his “KEYERA” family.
Will was honest, trustworthy, and could be humorous. He was a staunch, loyal and die hard Buffalo Bills and Montreal Canadiens fan.
The family wishes to express our heartfelt gratitude to Amy Norquay of the Cross Cancer institute for her kindness, care and support she provided for Will.
We invite you to join us to remember, share, and honour Will’s kindness and strength with a gathering on Friday May 2, 2025 anytime between the hours of 12:00 PM – 3:00 PM at First Memorial Funeral Services-Riverview Chapel, 11090 86 Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan AB T8L 4K6.
