Anna Margaret Burks

Anna Margaret Burks, 96, of Fort Smith, died May 8, 2015 in Fort Smith. She was born July 26, 1918 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri to William and Laura LaGore Guess. She was a retired Walmart Associate after 43 years of service. She was also a member of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church and the WMU.

She is survived by two sons, Joe Bean of Springfield, IL and Don Bean of Glendale, AZ; two brothers, Harold Guess of Des Moines, Iowa and Bill Guess of Sikeston, MO; and two grandsons, Jonathan and Joshua Bean. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harold B. Bean and Harold Burks.

Funeral service will be Monday, May 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 in Sikeston, MO. Local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Sunday from 3-5 PM
