

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hollie Howard Harris and Catherine Corrine Harris, sister Sherrie Mitchell and brother Howard Harris. She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Sam Collins; daughter Hollie Greer and her husband Chris, of Fort Smith; a son Cliff Collins, of Southlake, Texas and his fiancé Donna Deasy Woida. She was the proud Nana of four grandchildren, Elizabeth Greer, Andrew Greer, Emily Collins and Caroline Collins.
She graduated from Southwestern State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and received a master’s degree in Reading Education and her Reading Specialist certification from the University of Oklahoma. She taught elementary school in Hobart, Oklahoma for 11 years and in Lawton, Oklahoma for 23 years.
Annetta was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lawton, Oklahoma where she served on the Administration & Finance board, Board of Deacons, and was an ordained Elder. She was a member of Presbyterian Women's Esther Circle and received their Lifetime Achievement Award. She could also be found in the church kitchen cooking and laughing with her friends. One of her favorite moments was serving communion to her children, in-laws and grandchildren.
She was passionate about passing along life skills to her children and grandchildren such as cooking and sewing. Annetta enjoyed working puzzles and fishing with her family and gardening with her husband. She appreciated the outpouring of prayers, cards, calls, flowers, visits, and meals during her illness.
The family would like to express their appreciation to Drs. Dan Mackey, Summer Phillips, Tony deMondesert, Csaba Kiss, Jeff Evans, John Swicegood and their staffs, along with the Mercy infusion nurses, and Mercy Hospital nurses and aides on 5500.

A private service and burial will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton, OK. Arrangements are entrusted to Edwards Funeral Home.
