Aubrey Dale Green

Dale Green, 89, of Booneville, died January 15, 2014 in Booneville. He was born December 23, 1924 in Phoenix, Arizona. Dale was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served aboard the USS Orion. He was an electrician and a member the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints.

He is survived by his wife Jewel; one daughter Cindy Sproul of Las Vegas, Nevada and one step-daughter, Kathleen Leeper of Fort Smith; one son Glenn Green of Riverside, California and three step sons Victor Steffen of Mansfield, William Swick of Hemet, California, and Michael Swick of Australia; three nieces Debra Fisher Bell, Sharon Fisher Metzger and Patty Diane Green Christopherson and two nephews Gary Russel Green and Mitchel Dale Green. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12:30pm Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 915 West Center Street,, Greenwood, Arkansas. Burial will follow at Fort Smith National Cemetery. Services are under the direction Edwards Funeral Home.
