Austin was my favorite cousin from the Allen-Martin Clan in the Checotah-Eufaula-Muskogee area.  There was less than  six months difference in our ages from August to January.  My brother, Lundy Stephen Allen, is three years younger than me.  He was considered too young to hang out with us older cousins.
The last time we spoke, he stated he did not think he had much longer due to his heart condition, but he had been saying that for years .  He did send me a DVD of Luna service though I told him we would come if he would let us know of the arrangements.
Please advise of a charity or organization we can donate to in his memory.   The American Heart Association comes to mind.

My name is Carol Allen Duke.  Austin was my favorite cousin from the Allen-Martin Clan from the Checotah, Eufaula, Muskogee area.  For a long time, I thought that their last name was Bowser because Austin's dad was referred to as "Johnny Bowser".  My grandfather was called "Uncle Lundy".  My dad was "Little Lundy".  My aunt was referred to as "Dood".  Austin did send a DVD of Luna's memorial.
The Christmas card we sent was not returned.  
Is there a charity or organization we could donate to in his memory?  If we had been notified, we would have made every effort to pay our respects.  There was less than six months difference in our ages from August to January.

I am so very sorry for your loss.  I worked with Austin for years at Mercy and saw him often after he retired out and about town.  He was always talking about all of you and the grandkids.  He loved all of you.  Prayers for peace and comfort.-Beverly Cranford.

I had the pleasure of working with Austin for many years at St. Eds. He was a sure strength in the Radiology Department and a resource you could count on any and every time, a smile coming to you and your patient in Nuclear Medicine.  He always took great care of our patients and we tried to always support him in his projects. He made the team work well.
When I moved on I found myself wishing he was with me at later hospitals providing the same excellent care for my patients there. 
He is missed.

Sending our love to Melina, Ryan, Nick and the rest of Austin’s family. We were neighbors in Barling when our kid were small and Austin and Anna had their first two.  We would always catch up with each other’s lives when we ran into him at a store. He truly loved his kids and grands and was a fun friend to hang out with in the old neighborhood. We were saddened to learn of his passing.

I am a nurse at Mercy (St. Edward) and worked with Austin for years until he retired. He was a caring and compassionate coworker and was also a friend. We would always take time if we ran into each other after work to talk about family and what was going on in our lives. Austin truly made a positive impact in the lives he touched. He was a good man.

Austin was head nuclear medicine tech for my early years at St Edward, now Mercy. He was such an awesome tech. He would have the emergency scans interpreted before I ever looked at it🙌. He took such care of patients.

We met at Nuc Med Society mtg in Little Rock. He was my “ go too” person when I needed help on new procedures . Very involved in his profession & loved his patients!
His other love was his family… loved to show photos & share stories :)) Praying for family during this sudden loss . He was a Believer 
no doubt he was completely healthy the sec he passed
