

Bill W. Wilson, 84, of Roland, Oklahoma, passed from this life January 6, 2016 in Fort Smith. He was born May 28, 1931, in Fort Smith, to the late Dr. Cons P. and Doris Quail Wilson. Bill retired, after 30 years of service, from the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a lifetime member of the American Legion, VFW and DAV. Bill owned and operated Bill’s Lock and Key and was a member of The Locksmith Association. He was a 32 Degree Mason and a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Muldrow, Oklahoma.
Bill is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dolores Scamardo Wilson; two sons, William W. Wilson, Jr. and his wife Laurel of Raymond, Wisconsin and Kurt James Wilson and his wife Debbie of Fredonia, Wisconsin; his sister, Dr. Constance McAdams-Tadros of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10:00am Monday, January 11, 2016 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends following the memorial service. Private burial of ashes will be at Holy Cross Cemetery with military honors. Services are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.
