Bobbie Jean Strauser

Bobbie Jean Strauser, 84, of Springdale, formerly of Fort Smith, died February 23, 2014 in Springdale. She was born March 11, 1929 in Cabot, Arkansas to James Edward and Rushia Herron Kerr. She was a former employee of the Woods Eye Clinic and retired from the Linimon Eye Clinic. She was a member of South Side Baptist Church and the BYKOTA Sunday School Class of Fort Smith. She is survived by one daughter, Annette and husband Ron Mackey of Springdale; one son, Charlie and wife Gayla Strauser of Tulsa, OK; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Jacob Strauser. Funeral service will be Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Ron, Tanner, and Sumner Mackey, Chris Hightower, Justin Hamilton, and Roger Wortham. Honorary Pallbearers will be the member of the BYKOTA Sunday School Class of South Side Baptist Church.
