Bruce Lander Bogner, 59 of Ft. Smith passed away Friday, February 15, 2019. He was born August 18, 1959 in Ft. Smith to the late Harold and Frances Bogner. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a Supervisor for Dixie Cup. He enjoyed fishing, stargazing, grilling, sports especially the Razorbacks and his grandkids. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Phillip Bogner.
Rosary will be said at 6:00 PM Monday, February 18, 2019 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at St. Boniface Catholic Church with burial to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Fentress Mortuary.
Bruce is survived by his wife Alica of the home, his daughter Amy Wein and her husband Kris of Ft. Smith, two sons; Eric Bogner and his wife Ashlea of Nashville, TN and Scott Bogner and his significant other Kodee Stephens of Ft. Smith. His brothers and sisters; Beth Munson and her husband Mike of Maumelle, David Bogner of Frisco, TX, Annette Cox of Ft. Smith, and Chris Bogner and his wife Lisa of Chicago, IL, his two grandchildren; Noah and Heath Wein, as well as 18 nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bob Needham, David Scott, Ralph Armenta, Mike Munson, and Jerry Cannon. Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Hetherington, Philip Munson and Jeff Willis.
