

Charles P. Rowe, 77, of Fort Smith, AR passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. He was born on November 14, 1948, in Black Gum, OK to the late Frank Rowe and Dorothy Pruitt Rowe. Charles retired from the Whirlpool Corporation and served as a sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was of the Baptist faith. Charles loved building projects; he loved building gazebos, patio decks and garden boxes. He loved technology before it’s time, Radio Shack was his favorite place. In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his wife, Leoncia Castillo Rowe; three brothers, James Rowe, Earl Rowe and William Clayton Rowe; two sisters, Theresa Kelley and Mary Jumper.
He is survived by his twin daughters, Caroline Linson (Jason) of Fort Smith and Catherine Le of Orange, CA; a sister, Alice Rowe Stahl (Lenny) of Vian, OK; six brothers, Robert Rowe (Linda) of Garland, TX, Norman Rowe (Deidra) of Van Buren, AR, Merel Rowe (Linda) of Sallisaw, OK, David Rowe (Brenda) of Webbers Falls, OK, Paul Rowe (Sally) of Heavener, OK and Edwin Rowe (Bobbie Jo) of Harrah, OK. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Saben Sundara of Bentonville, and Brennen Linson of Fort Smith.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Edwards Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, December 15, 2025, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, with Military Honors.
Pallbearers will be Jason Linson, Saben Sundara and Brennen Linson.
