

Funeral services for Chasity Lynn (Adams) Martinez will be held on Friday, September 21st, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the Evangel Temple in Ft. Smith, AR. Interment will take place at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Ft. Smith. The family will receive guests on Thursday, September 20th, 2012 from 5:30 pm until 7:30 pm at Edwards Funeral Home at 201 N. 12th Street in Ft. Smith , AR. Pallbearers for Chasity include Eric Lopez, Rigoberto Martinez, Saul Martinez, Mario Llamas, Chris Carlile, and Jason Adams. Chasity Lynn Martinez was born on July 25th, 1974 in Ft. Smith , AR the daughter of Roger and Marcia (Swaim) Adams. After completing high school, she studied pharmacology and obtained her Doctorate from South Western Oklahoma State University. She was employed as a pharmacist at Pharmcare Pharmacy in Catoosa, OK. On August 8th, 1998, she married the love of her life, Oscar Martinez. This union was blessed with two daughters and years of happiness. Whenever she wasn’t working, Chasity could be found catching some sun at the area lakes, or listening to country music, Kenny Chesney was her favorite. The joy of her life was anything done with her daughters and her best friends, Madison Grace and MaKenzie Paige. She served as a “Home Room Mom”, “Cheer Mom” and just about any other capacity she could to show her love and support for her girls. She had a beautiful smile and the kind of laugh that made you feel like she was your friend. A Christian by faith, Chasity was called home to her Lord on September 16th, 2012 in Weatherford, Oklahoma. She was 38 years old. Chasity is already missed for the love she shared and the smile that gave to all who met her. Chasity is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Reverend Walter and Mrs. Loeta Faye Swaim. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Oscar of the home, two daughters, Madison and MaKenzie of the home in Tulsa, OK, her parents Roger and Marcia Adams of Arkoma, Oklahoma, sister Amber Adams of Fort Smith, Arkansas, and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Adams of Arkoma, Oklahoma.
