Cherry Turner

Cherry Turner, 71, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2009. She was born September 22, 1938 in Hope, AR to the late Emond and Geraldine White. She was a Pharmacist Assistant for Central Drug Store in Checotah, OK and Laws Drug Store in Fort Smith. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Checotah, OK and the E.S.A Sorority. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 18, 2009, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Father Tom Elliott officiating. Cremation will be under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home.She is survived by her husband of 31 years Jerry , her children Jerald Marshall and wife Pat of West Monroe, LA, Kari Coleman and husband Bill of Checotah, OK, Cindi Geisbauer and husband Al of Fort Smith, AR, Lacy Borengasser of McAlester, OK, Doug Turner of McAlester, OK and Ray Turner and wife Dean of McAlester, OK, two brothers Emond White, Jr. and Wife Linda of Hico, TX and Eddie White and wife Pat of Plano, TX, nine grandchildren Keith and Kim Huntsman, Jade Taylor, Kaley Coleman, Elyse and Grant Geisbauer, Amie, Emily and Eric Borengasser and four great grandchildren Morgan and Megan Huntsman, Blake McIntosh and Madison Martin.Memorials may be made Tribute Program, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
