Danny "Jack" Ray Wolaridge

Danny Ray "Jack" Wolaridge, Sr. 62, of Fort Smith, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. He was born on September 29, 1960 in Van Buren, AR. Danny worked for Baptist Health Hospital in Van Buren and was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He loved to grill, watch sports and play the guitar. Danny is preceded in death by a daughter, Alexis Shae White; a son, Danny Wolaridge, II; his father, Dan Wolaridge; a sister, Marie Wolaridge and a brother, Jaycee Wolaridge.

He is survived by his wife Elaine, of the home; two daughters, Danesha Colbert (Reggie) of Jacksonville, AR and Jerrisse Stout (A.J.) of Van Buren, AR; his mother, Isabella Vanlue of Fort Smith; five sisters, Pearl Wolaridge of Wichita, KS, Dewilla Wood of Fort Smith, AR, Shirley Filhiol of Tulsa, OK. Rhonda Gray of Fort Smith, AR, and Betty Givan of Little Rock, AR; a brother, Lawrence Vanlue, Jr. (Crystal) of Fort Smith, AR, along with two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home.

Graveside service will be held 1:00 pm Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Reggie Colbert, A.J. Stout, Lawrence Vanlue, Jr., Mitchell Parker, Sr., Almon Joey Page and Kareem Rollinson.
