David "Alan" Wright

David "Alan" Wright, 63, of Fort Smith passed from this life November 24, 2014 in Fort Smith. He was born August 26, 1951, in Refugio, Texas, to the late James and Martha Wright. Alan was employed by AOG and was of the Catholic faith. Alan is survived by his wife, Jean; His son Donald Wright and his wife Sommer of McAlester, Oklahoma; his daughter Melissa Langford and her husband David of Muskogee, Oklahoma; two step daughters, Michaela Humphreville and her husband Tom of Yucca Valley, California and Teri Ivy of Shawnee, Kansas; one step son Robert Ivy of San Diego, California; his sister Jana Davis and her husband Scotty of Choctaw, Oklahoma; a brother Larry Wright and his wife Mary of Beeville, Texas; nine grandchildren, Micah, Mason and Zaina Wright, David Andrew, Alyssa and Addison Langford, Amanda Tyler, Hannah Vickers and Luke Humphreville; two great grandchildren, MacKenzie Tyler and Zayla Snow and last, but certainly not least, Alan’s beloved four legged companion Greta Sue. A memorial service will be 1:00pm Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The family will greet friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm Friday, November 28, 2014 at Edwards Funeral Home.
