Dawton Wayne Henson

Dawton Henson, 30, of Fort Smith, passed from this life November 24, 2011. Dawton was a free spirit with a generous heart who loved his family and friends. He took pleasure in sports and outdoor activities including camping, hiking and four-wheeling. Dawton was a skilled carpenter and electrician who enjoyed working with his father and uncle.

He is survived by his father William Henson, mother Starla Belcher, sisters Sunshine Bartlett and Abra Henson, all of Fort Smith, as well as numerous family members and close friends. Dawton’s family requests you celebrate his life by reflecting on memories of all the good times shared with him.

Visitation will be held at Fentress Chapel from 5-7 pm Wednesday, November 30. Services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, December 1, with George Barham officiating. Final resting place will be Gentry Cemetery in Greenwood. Serving as pallbearers will be Corey Bartlett, Ross Campbell, Justin Martin, Billy Meadors, Anderson Nguyen and Joseph Palencia.
