He was born on April 6, 1962 in Tacoma, Washington to George Roger Lee and Sondra Kay Lee. The military brought Dwayne and his family back to Fort Smith, Arkansas at age 4. As a young child, Dwayne loved playing on many different sports teams, spending summers camping at Lake Ouachita and Lake Ten Killer, and attending weekly family dinners at Granny’s house- which continued well into his adult years. Dwayne attended Arkansas Tech University where he played fullback on their football team. He was an avid musician and singer, playing guitar in local venues with his band, “The Yard Dogs”. In his 20s, Dwayne married and had two daughters. His summers were then spent traveling for their sporting events, and his nights were spent working long hours at Trane Heating and Air, retiring after 35 years of dedicated service.
He is survived by his wife, Holly Lee; his daughters, Brittney Wilbanks and Rachel Lee; stepdaughters Carissa Crowley and Megan Sanders; grandchildren, Parker and Presley Wilbanks, Finley and Foster Poole, and Keaton, Olivia, and Autumn Crowley; father and stepmother, Roger and Pat Lee; and sister, Tonya Lundstrum.
