Everett was an aircraft mechanic in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Everett worked as the print shop foreman at Yoes Printing and retired after thirty plus years of service.
In addition to his parents, Everett was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-four years, Shirley Lux, son Richard Jay Lux, along with five brothers and five sisters. He was the youngest of his siblings.
Mr. Lux is survived by his daughter, Deborah S. Moore, and son-in-law Bill J. Moore, and daughter-in-law Allene M. Lux. Papa Everett is also survived by four grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson and husband Kevin, Keith Lux, Deidre Wyers and Derek Moore and his wife Erin. He was papa to six great grandchildren, Benjamin Wyers, Ethan Wyers, Ellis Moore, Hayden Moore, Hailey Johnson and Logan Johnson.
Everett’s family and friends will miss his handsome pompadour hair and his sweet smile.
Family will visit with friends from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rosary Service immediately following at 6:00 PM. Graveside service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Holy Cross Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bill Moore, Derek Moore, Keith Lux, Kevin Johnson and Mike Moore.
