Floyd E. Collins, 73, of Fort Smith, died Sunday, July 14, 2013 in Fort Smith. He was born September 19, 1939 in Fort Smith to Charles Alvin and Sarah A. Abshire Collins. He was a retired employee of U.S. Forge Craft and a member of Evangel Temple. He is survived by his wife Glenda Collins of the home; two sons, John Collins and Jim and wife Pam Collins all of Van Buren; two sisters, Geraldine Willis of Fort Smith and Doris Mitchell of Van Buren; two brothers, Bob Collins of Fort Smith and Scotty Collins of Van Buren; and three grandchildren. Funeral service will be Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 10:00 AM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Center Valley Cemetery near Bloomer all under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Bill Hughes, Sam Crenshaw, Steve Staub, Ted Carter, Bob Overton, and Don Penner. The family will greet friends at Edwards Funeral Home on Monday evening from 5-7 PM.
