Gary Cole was born September 14, 1948, in Jackson, Missouri to Beverly (Jackson) Cole and Melmo Cole and passed away September 11, 2023, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was married three times, his first wife Carol (Starr) Cole on July 26, 1969, married for 16 years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Michael (Mike) Cole. He served in the military through the Navy, tour in Vietnam. After serving for the military, he worked in Whirlpool, Fort Smith, Arkansas for many years until retirement.
Survivors include his first wife Carol Cole of Pocola, Oklahoma; first son Matt Cole and wife Kelli Cole of Pocola, Oklahoma; second son Eric Cole of Fort Smith, Arkansas; grandchildren, Brittney Wood and husband Kyle Wood of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Braden Cole of Pocola, Oklahoma; Ryan Cole of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Samuel (Sammy) Cole of Fort Smith, Arkansas; great grandchild Kayson Russell.
